In this luxury bunkhouse, you'll feel as if you are sleeping in the trees tucked into a cozy and well-appointed nest! Luxury camping here means days full of exploring the fabulous countryside as well as entertaining day trips in the area.
The Finch House evokes nature with its vibrant oranges, greens, blues and bird-inspired furnishings and decor. Sleep soundly in one of two queen beds downstairs or sleep on the upstairs perch in a twin bed. Relax, in the cozy living and dining areas, guests enjoy plush seating, a dining area, a flat-screen television, and a kitchenette with all the amenities needed to cook up simple meals including a microwave, a toaster oven, a hot plate, as well as all the necessary plates and utensils, and Wi-Fi. Tidy up in this bathroom that has a full shower and roomy sink.
Outside, enjoy a charming porch at the front of the cottage, with deck chairs for guests to kick back with their favorite beverages and enjoy the fresh air. Unwind on the porch swing under the cottage for a unique spot to sit by the koi pond, waterfall, or stream. Barbeque favorites on the outdoor grill. Summary: Overall it was ok. The a/c does not keep up or work when its hot. The first day/night was miserable and we had to stay outside. Communication was there but nothing was done. Very dissapointed. Wouldnt stay again and or reccomend for summer months

Summary: Great location to Pedernales Falls and Bell Springs Winery!Check-in process was great and the host was very communicative.Our kids enjoyed the loft area! The amenities in the kitchen are bad definitely seen better days as was the outside areas.All in all, we enjoyed our stay!

Summary: When I arrived my code on the keypad did not work. I called the number, it was answered by the 2nd ring - they walked me through finding the lockbox as an alternative way to access the property. My 2 adult daughters joined me the 2nd night - it was perfect for all 3 of us to hang out and catch up after a soccer game. While the 100 additional fee seemed a bit excessive for the minimalist approach - I recommend!

Summary: Totally remote. I was here to work on a novel, so the lack of cell service and spotty internet actually benefitted me; but keep this in mind if it’s important to you. Some small roach friends, but of course we’re in the trees in the hill country, so if you’re staying for a long period as I did, bring an airtight container to store food in for safety. Otherwise, a very cute little treehouse cabin with a great view of the stars.

Summary: Amazing experience staying at a treehouse for the first time. Quiet, serene place to gather your thoughts, read a book by the balcony etc. Even though this is basically more outdoorsy so critters to be expected, they lost a star for small roach problem in the kitchen and uneven water temperature in the shower. Also heat did not circulate very well in the room. But yes, would stay here again.
